Coach Charles Brewster unveils Brady High School's 1965-66 basketball schedule with 22 games, 3 tournaments at Lampasas Howard Payne College and Big Lake, 10 home and 12 away games. The Bulldogs, District 8AA co champions last year, beat Fredericksburg 72-47 to win playoff entry and defeated Comanche 67-61 in bi district play.

New seats arrive from San Angelo and will be installed by a night and day crew in time for this Friday’s Senior Class play. The Brady auditorium gains upholstered seating with plain backs and a revised layout to improve stage visibility for the entire audience.

Rochelle Woman Mrs A R Turner Dies at 61
Ola Mae Turner age 61 of Rochelle died Wednesday night at Medical Surgical Hospital where she had been treated since Tuesday. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Wilkerson Chapel with Rev. Howard Johnson of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial follows at Camp Saba Cemetery. Born August 24, 1904 in Llano County she married Allen R. Turner in Canyon in 1928. Survivors include her husband a brother Dan Griffay of Brady two sisters Miss Ruby Griffay and Mrs Walter Engdahl both of Rochelle and her mother Mrs Mary Griffay of Rochelle.
