Brady High School announces G S Hubbard math teacher and FTA sponsor as the 1970 yearbook dedicatee during the Quill and Scroll initiation banquet. New and old members of the organization were introduced as Rev. Lamar Leifeste urged commitment and quality work. Entertainment came from Mrs Leifeste, the Bulldog band trio, and gifts were presented to sponsors Lucille Welch and Harold Burke.

Rebecca Hester, a Brady High School student who attended the 1968 Citizenship Seminar in Waco, reported to the Brady Chamber Monday night and urged sponsorship again. Directors voted to cooperate in the program. Wel come To Brady signs were completed and looked good. Purcell noted many DC requests and workshops for chamber directors and managers in Abilene. President Williamson urged quick committee project planning for funding.

Junior Golf Tournament Slated Here Saturday
About 50 junior golfers are expected to compete in the annual Junior Golf Tournament at Brady Municipal Golf Course starting 9 a m. The event features 18 holes of medal play across two age divisions. Brady players compete in the Riverside Women’s Golf Association Invitational Handicap Low-Ball at Riverside Golf Club in San Angelo.

Snyder Coach Named Brady Cage Mentor
Snyder High School assistant basketball coach and head football coach Jerry C. McLeod was chosen to fill the basketball coach position left by Charles Brewster.
