Muzzle Loaders Open 25th Texas Meet At Brady Lake
The Texas Muzzle Loading Rifle Association begins its 25th annual meet at Brady Lake with 68 matches over four days from Thursday to Sunday. Competitors camp at the gun range or nearby facilities while some stay in local motels. Prizes include Blackington medals and trophies for matches and aggregates, plus merchandise prizes for top four aggregates. The event features a Silver Anniversary School open to the public, led by president Ben Dopson.

Jury Returns One Indictment In Texas Burglar Case
The 198th District Grand Jury in McCulloch County indicted James Clark 20 of Brady for burglary of the T A Parker Jr ranch home. Clark pled guilty and received five years in the state penitentiary. Judge A P Allison presided with W Murray Jordan as prosecutor.

Rev Burleson Leads Revival in Oklahoma
