Rochelle FFA Chapter member Gary Engdahl received the Lone Star Farmer Award at the State FFA Convention in San Antonio on July 16. He is a Rochelle High School rising senior and was joined at the convention by Rickey Lively James Springer and Talmage Wood. Cdr Robert E. Nelson and his wife from Alexandria Virginia visited Brady residents and spoke of naval service aboard the USS Yorktown in the mid sixties and Nelson’s new duty station in Cubi Point Philippines.
