Brady High School announces Killeen joins the Bulldogs 1958 schedule replacing Cisco. Del Rio remains a AAA opponent while Gatesville also enters the district 17-AA lineup with Ballinger Winters Coleman Stamford Lampasas San Saba and Fredericksburg on the slate. Regular district games begin September 5 at Ballinger and continue through November 14 with Fredericksburg at home.

A two-room house at East Ninth and Hackberry Streets sustained minor fire damage at 10 30 a m Thursday. Brady volunteer firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze found burning in the wall near a heating stove. The vacant house is owned by Mrs Clasey Punehard.
