Openings exist for both civilians and prior service members. an information session is set for February 12 at 8 o'clock at the Brownwood Highway armory with films on Atomic Attack and the 36th Infantry Division History. Hubcap theft leads to quick court fine
James King’s Oldsmobile hubcaps were stolen from a bowling alley parking lot. Two boys ages 18 and 20 confessed after a license check linked them to the car, then hubcaps were found in a car seat. Each boy paid a 4.50 fine in Justice of Peace Joe Myrick’s court.

Mr and Mrs Perry Bradshaw purchased the Brady Motel a 17 unit property at 603 West Commerce from G B Stephens. The sale took effect January 30 and Stephens, originally from Eden, moved back to Eden last fall with the motel managed by Guy McLerran of Voca.
