Brady branch of the Blackwell McClelland agency sold items to Brady customers. Brady, Gray, Mrs J A Johnson, C E Strickland and B A Hallim will each receive one in time for Christmas use as J A Maxwell also purchases.
Sealed proposals addressed to John Rudder Mayor City of Brady Texas will be received at the City Secretary C B Groves office in City Hall until 7 00 p m Thursday January 16 1968 for the purchase furnishing delivering and installation of a Fishing Marina 48 ft by 140 ft with two fishing wells 16 ft by 28 ft on flotation anchoring facilities a 32 by 125 ft metal covered marina a 44 by 100 ft boat dock with sixteen 9 by 20 ft stalls on flotation and anchoring facilities a 48 by 76 ft metal covered shed for twelve stalls. The Rochelle FHM January 25 1968 menu lists a Monday and Tuesday meal plan with meat and cheese sandwiches, lettuce and tomatoes, chips, banana pudding, fried chicken with sides, roast beef, vegetables, rice, and various desserts. It notes milk and bread served with each meal.
