Veterans Land Program urged to extend by Sadler
Texas General Land Office Commissioner Jerry Sadler says the Texas Veterans Land Program should be extended beyond 1963. He notes only 29 000 of 1 000 000 eligible veterans have bought land and he receives over 600 letters weekly from hopeful participants. He emphasizes the program is repayable by beneficiaries and not a tax burden, urging continuation as fair and just.
