Odessa Woman Seeks Funds for 14 Terminal Children
An Odessa resident partners with M. D. Anderson Hospital to send 14 West Texas terminal cancer children home for Christmas. Opal Dunigan, who lost her own child to cancer, says this will be their last Christmas and urgently seeks public help to cover transportation costs. She plans a West Texas Christmas party and appealed after Thanksgiving visits to the hospital.

Mrs. Yarborough Dies at 83 in Brady
Ethel Hairston Yarborough 83 of Brady died Tuesday evening at Sheffield Rest Home No 1 after a brief illness. Born March 13 1893 in Richland Springs she owned Echo Pharmacy there and later moved to Brady. Survived by daughter Marilyn Wicker of Austin three sisters three grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Burial in Richland Springs Cemetery.
