Farm-truck rules delayed as revisions sought
Washington report notes federal farm-truck regulations set to take effect July 1 were postponed while revisions are drafted. Rep. Graham Purcell says protests grew after rules require a 21-year-old driver, a health certificate, and a driving test. Proposals include lowering age to 18 and a 150-mile operating exemption. Public comments will be invited after revisions are published.
