Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Gifford returned from Carnegie Oklahoma after attending the funeral of his sister Mrs. C. E. Brown aged 72 who died from burns from an open heater. Her clothing caught fire while dressing and she died about ten hours later. She lived in Lindale about fifteen years.
