County Paving Plan Approved for Bowie to Newport
Good news comes from County Commissioner Hotwan Wheeler after the State Highway Department approved paving the remaining six miles between Bowie and Newport. The project spans 2.6 miles in Montague County and the rest in Clay County with a total cost of 60,200 dollars. Plans and costs are set, title papers may be ready soon, and a paving contract could be let in January with completion early next year.
