Local notices and ads fill Bowen paper audience
Saturday business and social blurbs mix with sales offers and visits. Names include Ethel Hester of near Golden visiting J O Carlin. C P Jacobs visits Camp Point. Geo E Harris advertises clover seed and oats. T R Kemp of Quincy and A J Culver of Aurora call on locals. Various reminders about market days, lectures by Col Gearhart, an upcoming muslin sale, and town events intermingle with births, Ground Hog Day musings, and stray hog ads.
