Mrs McMillan in ill health and violent spells of insanity dragged her two young children to an old forty eight foot well and drowned them after a failed hang. She later took rat poison and died at about six. The father returned home inconsolable, both children dead at the well.
Burglars broke into Isaac Strauss residence at 182 Sherman Street near Harrison Street police station. In Denver on May 28, William H. Bush ex Senator Tabor's partner and former Windsor Hotel manager was acquitted of embezzling 2000 from the Tabor Opera House after five minutes deliberation. The suit was by Tabor over a quarrel tied to Mrs Bush not joining Mrs Tabor.
