Fall and Winter Fashion Trends Look Ahead

Late fall and winter coats will probably have long sleeves. Felt will be less used for hats than in many years. Black appears in dress and gowns with new silks in checker board patterns using wistaria taupe or duck's wing blue. Children's fashions change little with the Buster Brown suit, long-waisted Pinafore dresses, and the toque tops hats. Evening gowns show gold crepe de chine by a leading French tailor with simple styling and gilded buttons and oxidized silver accents.
