New York Sept 21 Charley Ebbetts president of the Brooklyn Dodgers and a longtime associate of George Stallings Braves chief plans to raise ticket prices for World Series games. The move is aimed at Brooklyn fans and reflects ongoing price increases for the event.

Mayor Mitchel spoke to Hugh Frayne and labor leaders after a final conference failed to settle the dispute. The meeting ended in deadlock with no solution in sight as unionists threaten a general strike. Samuel Gompers joined the discussion pledging support for the strikers.
An old horse attached to a shay, a town institution in Dracut owned by Mr and Mrs John Sharp, was recovered and brought to the Hanover street police station. Patrolmen Connolly and O'Brien arrested a man named George Gallup on theft charges after citations traced the vehicle from Lawrence to a North End stable and Charlestown location.
Six people including a year old infant were drenched when the automobile went over a 0 foot embankment and landed in Sluice Pond Lyon yesterday. A car driven by Henry Hancock and his wife swerved at a sharp Lynnfield street curve, toppled over a steep embankment into a pond, and rescued passengers including Mrs Munroe and her daughter. No serious injuries reported. ambulance crews found all unharmed and the vehicle was towed.
Brigadier General George Bell reports Villa led a successful attack on Chihuahua for Independence Day. The assault captured federal buildings and drew recruits from the penitentiary and Carranza garrison. They loaded 16 automobiles with arms and ammunition and promised to return.
General Bell reports evidence grows that Villa was entirely successful in his attack Saturday on Chihuahua and accomplished all and more than he claimed.
Brookline public schools opening postponed again due to infantile paralysis outbreak. Town officials said opening on Sept. 25 is inadvisable and rescheduled for Oct. 2.

A son notes a strange story. investigators suspect a vendetta tied to a secret society before he died without naming the killer.
The Harvard philosophy professors Rev. Frederick Palmer and George H. Palmer suffered a break in at their home on 11 Quincy Street Cambridge near President Lowell’s house. The family was away and items stolen are not confirmed. several valuable papers and studies were reportedly ransacked and may be missing.
Mrs. Georgian nas Bergeron wife of John Bergeron of Aldenville gave birth to triplets by Caesarian at Providence Hospital. A boy and two girls were born two girls weighing six pounds each and the boy five pounds six ounces. Mother and children are reported doing well and strong.
Donald Woodworth a 17 year old was crushed to death in Newport Maine after falling while attempting to board a moving freight train on September 21 authorities reported.
