The steamer King Philip carrying 150 excursionists left Commercial wharf at 10 yesterday morning for the fishing grounds. Dense fog and rough seas prevented a return to port last night. she anchored off Calf Island but is reported not in danger and expected to reach port early today. Relatives gathered at the wharf anxiously awaiting word of passengers' whereabouts.

A warrant is said to be out as he remains missing amid tens of thousands in alleged shortages. Public notice reports searches in New York and other cities and a wave of frustrated clients.
Police in Derby Connecticut report a man matching Hooper Young’s description, wanted for the murder of Mrs. Annie Pulitzer in New York, held temporarily on a horse stealing charge after a tense arrest near Stevenson. The suspect denied knowledge of his whereabouts, hid a weapon, and showed a missing gold tooth replaced by a gum note.
