Message of the Spirit at Tufts Russell Lecture
The Russell Lecture at Tufts featured Dr. C. H. Eaton and Rev. E. A. Horton discussing charity and patriotism. Horton urged three canons for individual and church life: forget and reach forward, rightly divide, and grandly interpret. He framed Christianity as Christ and urged Christians to test beliefs by their social utility, not mere truth.
