The advance copy shows total income about 5.02 million, operating expenses 5.33 million, net earnings 1.50 million for dividends, and significant capital spending including double tracking Shore Line and four tracking the New York division. Structural work includes eliminating grade crossings and constructing a new passenger station in Bridgeport, with additional crossings to be updated within New Haven city limits.
