Robbery in Charles Town Ends With Capture of Suspect

Two men robbed jewelry store owner W. L. Anderson at 2981 Main Street as schoolchildren left. McAuleff, 24, grabbed fifty rings worth about 150 dollars while a second man created a distraction and threw a stone through the case. Woman leaps from Chelsea Bridge in suicide attempt

Nellie Kruge, 28, jumped from the Chelsea bridge south draw at about 4 pm and landed fifteen feet below the railing. She was shaken but survived and was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital. She told police she tried to kill herself because she was tired of living. She is expected to recover.
