Freight wreck near Greensburg devastates two trains
A Pennsylvania Railroad freight wreck two miles east of Greensburg on September 20 destroyed forty freight cars and twenty cattle cars. Engineer Rogers and Brakeman Wadsworth were killed, Fireman R. K. Stanley seriously hurt. An east-bound cattle train later struck the wreck, killing twenty six head. A tramp was found burned in the debris and wreckage rose nearly 100 feet high.

Woman Throws Children Into River and Drowns
