Hyannis Sept 19 The village street and house electric lights go out unexpectedly prompting Zenas H Kelley to receive a new Ford touring car this afternoon. The event foreshadows a likely explanation or demonstration connected to the blackout pattern.
Urho Ojala of 92 Town Hill Street Quincy was hospitalised with a broken leg and multiple injuries after stepping in front of an auto on Quincy Avenue yesterday afternoon. The car, driven by Wilbur Thayer of 81 Flint Street Weymouth, was traveling at a moderate speed when Ojala darted from behind a tree and was struck. He told bystanders he was tired of living.
