Defendants Palligreno Sandoli Philip Lombardi and Carmini Brigandi faced assault charges, with Brigandi also charged for carrying a weapon. Brigandi testified through an interpreter that he pleaded guilty to the weapon charge but disputes the harshness of the law and his right to use the weapon.
