Spectacular Lawrence Parade Draws Massive Crowd

A vast Lawrence parade wove through Essex Street to City Hall, with about eight thousand in line across two miles. Rowing Regatta Thrills Lawrence Enthusiasts on Merrimac

New England Amateur Rowing Association hosted a lengthy Merrimac River regatta with choppy water and a strong wind. Senior singles crowned William Caffrey of Riverside Boat Club, while O Leary of Cambridge briefly led junior singles before a collision and protest. Swimming Contests at Merrimac River Regatta

Athletics Defeat East Ends In Gaelic Football Duel

In Lawrence on September 17 the Common Gaelic football match drew about 5000 spectators. The two Lawrence teams were the Athletics and the East Ends. Captain J. P. O Callahan refereed a two hour contest that ended with the Athletics victors.
