Representatives from Brockton Taunton Ridgewater Lakeville Mansfield Sharon Canton Attleboro and Kayabato attended. The aim is to form clubs in towns lacking Democratic organization.
New York reports A. P. Holman of Boston died at sea from kidney trouble on September 2 during the Venezuela voyage and was buried at sea. Holman, a passenger, does not appear in the Boston directory.
The Fuerst Bismarck arrives at Southampton at 8:15 am breaking the prior New York to Southampton record. The liner sailed from New York on September 10 and completed the voyage in 6 days 12 hours 58 minutes.
