Dominion Judges Back Dominion Divorce Court Plan
Ottawa reports Sir William Ritchie and Chief Justice Armour support a Dominion Divorce Court modeled on the American system. They note low filing, high costs, and limits on causes, but favor broader grounds including drunkenness and cruelty with liberal remarriage rights. They urge Canada to recognize valid American decrees.
