Heads of families may make wine at home up to 200 gallons

Washington officials of the Internal Revenue Bureau stated that heads of families may, after filing notification with local revenue collectors, manufacture up to 200 gallons of wine annually for home use.

Internal Revenue Commissioner Roper issued the regulation with Secretary McAdoo's approval in October 1918. Officials say Congress has not enacted legislation clarifying it. Milk Men Vote Against Strike in Boston Meetings

In Wells Memorial Hall yesterday and last night the union milk wagon drivers and creamery workers of Greater Boston voted by ballot to reject a strike. The afternoon vote was 196 in favor of striking and 21 against. the evening vote by the creamery workers was 141 for striking and 0 against. The deal offers a wage reduction of 2 dollars per week until April 1 1922 with a possible renewal after 9 days notice if desired by either side.
