British Vets Memorial Service at St Pauls Cathedral

The annual memorial service of the British Naval and Military Veterans Association of Massachusetts was held at St. Pauls Cathedral Tremont Street yesterday at 4 PM. Rev. Dr. Edmund S. Rousmaniere officiated. Members gathered at Appleton Street headquarters and paraded with First Vice-Consul Francis C. O'Meara and other officials through city streets to the cathedral.

Tragic Electrocution Attempt Ends For Lachance Boy

Lachance and friends returned from the track to South street and Western avenue. While climbing down a bank Lachance grabbed a hanging telegraph wire and was thrown to the ground. Paul Sullivan broke the grip by striking the wire with a rock, but despite Dr Coats and a physician at Trull Hospital the boy died.
