J H Maynard of Rockville was found dead this morning from heart disease in Hartford. Louis Tracy, a Hartford saloon keeper, pleaded guilty to assault for a April 10 shooting that killed George Ethier, a French Canadian, claiming the act was accidental as the pistol went off during a playful moment over a saloon counter. Tracy was sentenced to one day in jail and fined ten dollars.
