Collision In Malden Injures Two In Electric Car Crash
An electric car collision in Malden square last night injured two passengers slightly and unsettled many. Boston Elevated car 1686 from Medford struck Lynn & Boston car 577 on Pleasant street as the conductor switched tracks. Mrs. F B Lancaster of 269 Eastern Avenue Malden and Mrs. G B Hanscomb of 69 Warren Avenue Malden were shaken loose, the former with a child unharmed. They were taken to the Malden police station and sent home later. The Boston Elevated car fender bent. no other injuries. The accident followed the motorman attempting to stop by braking after sliding on the rails.
