Great Britain secures a time and method regulation for fishing and defines a three mile limit around Newfoundland from headland to headland, rejecting U S insistence on bay boundaries.
Former Congressman George Warren Weymouth of Fairhaven Mass general manager of Atlas Tack Company and leader in American Shoe Finding Company died instantly when a touring car toppled on a steep hill near Bingham Me. Two companions Perley R. Glass and F A Dinsmore of Boston were seriously injured J J Landers of Bingham escaped injury as driver.
