Senators Bran-degee, Gerry, Phelan, Pomerene, Ransdell, and Underwood opposed retaining the dry provisions. The measure would ban intoxicating beverage sales after June 30 with limited exceptions and bar manufacture after May 1. Senate conferees Gore, Smith, Smith, Kenyon, and France were named.
