Mining firm suit seeks one sixth stock share and asset safeguards

In Suffolk Superior Court a cross jurisdictional equity case targets Thomas Ewing of California and partners over mining properties in Nevada. Plaintiffs claim Ewing owes one sixth of two mining corporations’ capital stock for services as brokers and seeks injunctions to prevent transfer of money or stock. The process also includes a request for delivery of stock equal to one sixth of the capital in each corporation and to block conveyances of the mining properties to other firms. Proceedings order Ewing to appear within two to three months to answer.
