British forces advance along the Hindenburg line reaching the Canal du Nord area as German resistance collapses. Troops report captures at Indhy-en-Artoise Biache St Vaast and Queant while heavy engagement and air raids disrupt German withdrawals. Thousands of German prisoners are taken amid widespread disarray and ammunition shortages.
Allied forces press the Hindenburg line as British and French gains reach Lens and Queant with patrols within four miles of Cambrai and ten miles of Douai.
