Two men returning from a Master Plumbers Association meeting at the Ferncroft Inn were injured when Baker the chauffeur lost control of the auto on Traffic road near the Nahant bathhouse. One man sustained a neck and right arm injury and was rushed to Lynn hospital by a passing car. The other passenger was Phil lips being taken to Nahant. The car skidded and struck a pole about 200 feet beyond the Nahant bathhouse.
