Drowning in the Charles River Near Fitchburg Bridge
A boat carrying four young men sank near the Fitchburg railroad draw bridge in the Charles River at 8 o'clock last evening. Corcoran and Doherty were pulled from the water by Rohr but both perished. Stevens injured in North Adams runaway accident
Suffolk County District Attorney Oliver Stevens and Mrs. Stevens were seriously hurt in a morning runaway in North Adams where they are summering. He suffered multiple left rib fractures and severe bruising while Mrs. Stevens had both bones of the right leg broken below the knee. Mrs. Emerson of Salem, a passenger, escaped serious injury.

Boy Rescued After Fall From Embankment
