Bancor Me Sept 2 Yesterday Ash Sellon on trial for killing Jerry Sinclair took the stand and recounted the crime claiming Sinclair struck him first and he acted to disable him not to seriously injure. He said he hoped to conceal the quarrel from the department fearing dismissal and that after learning Sinclair died he tried to hide the crime to shield his family from disgrace. Witnesses testified well of the prisoner and some noted Sinclair was slightly intoxicated. The defense rested with arguments due tomorrow.
