Boston Stock Market Dips as Traders Hold Fire. Mexican Bonds Lead
The Boston stock exchange saw a bearish mood with room traders sidelined and large operators largely out. Bond and stock sales totaled 207,400 dollars in bonds and 3,435 shares, with Mexican Central 7s dominating bond activity as prices drifted from 35 4 to 34 4. The day featured heavy bond turnover, jammed by a cautious climate and headlines on fairness in dealing. Union Pacific rose in New York before tumbling back, with a Boston investor wagering 1000 dollars that the stock reaches 20 before June.
