Worcester report states J Edmund Goulet chief of police of Grafton and E J Aucoin gasoline station owner were arrested in Newport Vermont on smuggling and Mann Act violations. Two unnamed women were detained. a touring car and 42 quarts of liquor were seized. Bail set at 2000 dollars for Aucoin and the woman. Goulet and the other woman awaiting bail.
