Jury hears details of shooting and positions in Lawrence case

Dr. George W. Dow and Dr. Arthur H. Cutter identified the district attorney produced bullet as the lethal sliver in Anna Lopizzo. Robert G. Warner of the Boston Post described the shot from a tall man over a shorter man’s shoulder and placed Benoit in danger as the target. The defense may move to remove the case from the jury. Warner testified he saw the woman fall and later appear on a vegetable counter. He recounted Ettor’s speeches urging restraint and later street turmoil. The court demonstrated witness positions with a chair and papers to illustrate distances.
