Two Linemen Killed in Hartford Line Power Outage

In New York on October 29 thousands of commuters were delayed as electric power was cut in Oak Point yards of the New York New Haven Hartford line to remove the bodies of two unidentified linemen electrocuted. All trains on main lines stalled until bodies were removed and traffic resumed.

Woman from Oceanport accuses Williams of swindling methods

Jessie L. D. Russell of Oceanport New Jersey adds her name to a witness list claiming the late George E. Williams New England manager of Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance swindled her. Miss Jennie Silva an 18 year old daughter of Emelius Silva of 3 Pearl Street Dorchester is missing from home after leaving Braintree on the 16:2u train to Savin Hill last Sunday. Relatives and friends across Greater Boston have been notified but no tidings have been secured.
