The property lies in Rowan and Cabarrus counties North Carolina covering about 1150 acres with 12 shafts 150 to 900 feet deep and 900 feet of underground work. The ore body contains copper gold and silver centered on a single vein about 1700 feet long and four to 24 feet wide. Ely Central to Begin Shipping Ore Within Ten Days
Ely Central Copper Company plans to move from prospecting to production within ten days as the Monarch and Clipper workings open. The estate spans two miles of ground between Nevada Consolidated, Giroux Consolidated, and Cumberland-Fly holdings.
