British bark Greenman lost near Turks Island
A despatch from Turks Island states that the British bark Greenmans Captain Anderson sailing from Philadelphia October for the Bahamas to load salt has been lost with the crew saved. Built at Parrsboro Nova Scotia in 1897 the Greenland was 750 tons and owned by McKay and Dix of Philadelphia.
