Mrs Taylor, a Bay City native and schoolstand, rode a 41 by 3 foot barrel over Niagara Falls. She landed in the Maid of the Mist eddy and was pulled toward the rocks by a pole and later rescued on the American side. She survived after prayers during the descent and said she would not redo the feat. She sought financial help but did not regret attempting it.
