Boston Saints Old Ironsides Celebrates Constitution Centenary

Boston marks the hundredth birthday of the frigate Constitution with a citywide celebration. Governors, senators, and dignitaries attend Old South exercises, a grand parade, a navy yard review aboard the Constitution, and night illuminations. Thousands fill streets, many press toward the ship, and several veterans and survivors are highlighted in ceremonies and processions.
