Drizzling rain and a damp Shibe Park forecast postponed plans for the big series. Fans woke to the certainty of postponement with the weather likely keeping the game from being played until Monday if sunshine does not arrive soon.

The Rev Clarence V T Richeson allegedly arranged a meeting with Miss Avis Linnell by telephone from John F Danskin’s Cambridge home. Police seek a witness who saw them together on the day cyanide was handed to Linnell, around 6 pm Thursday Oct 12, as Richeson left Danskin’s home.
