Treaty foes again beaten in Senate vote on amendments
The Senate defeated two Fall amendments curtailing the American envoy’s power on the Reparations Commission and delaying league action. The session also touched on House’s offer to testify and continued reading of the treaty text as Republicans and Democrats debate reservations and ratification paths.
