Nuns Flee Mexico On Tanker to Galveston

Twenty Catholic sisters of the Incarnate Word are among refugees aboard the oil tanker Hainant and Waneta sailing from Tampico to Galveston. The vessel also carries 16 British subjects 10 Mexicans and one American. Consul Hanna of Monterey said he began moving 105 Americans by train toward Tamipice and then to the United States as railroad traffic shifts to ease the emergency.
