Denies Involvement With Redeemable Investment Company

The Rev. Clarence A. Vincent of Roxbury testified last night he had no knowledge of the Redeemable Investment Company and never signed a recommendation letter or invested. He said he met Norman Plass several times, helped him start a lumber venture, and exchanged his lumber stock for Redeemable shares, but he never bought stock in the investment company. He noted circulars bore his name without permission and that he has advised people to invest only where he can supervise the money. He added he does not believe the men acted with malicious intent, but they may have overreached beyond their means.
