In Tiverton Rhode Island Medical Examiner Stimpson takes charge of the Bulger marsh case and believes a South Scituate girl, 17 years old, is the victim. The missing teen left home Saturday in a red automobile with four companions. last seen heading toward Providence.
A 17 year old South Scituate girl with a left ankle scar, about 5 feet 3 inches tall and 120 pounds, vanished after a stop at a roadhouse. Police seek four persons including a physician, theory she was killed and body dismembered, with remains dumped along the Tiverton road.
Police traced the dead girl’s identity after discovering a suitcase lid labeled “Frank Hill, Pleasant street, Fall River.” Detectives hope to locate the victim’s origin and determine how she died, aiming to identify the responsible person or persons.
